ComTrust Telecommunications, Inc. Announces “iDA” (International Directory Assistance)

Atlanta, GA – March 16, 2005 ComTrust introduced the latest addition to their suite of directory services. International Directory Assistance or “iDA” as the service is being branded, permits the company’s clients, access to over 240 countries local telephone listings. Larry E. Butler, Chief Executive Officer for the company stated, “The addition of iDA demonstrates ComTrust’s continued commitment to its customers to deliver a seamless method of gaining access to telephone listings and addresses for virtually any phone, anywhere in the world!”

Specially trained international live operators handle callers requiring listings from one of the covered 240 countries. Butler further stated, “Since it is impossible to have operators on stand-by who are able to communicate in multiple languages, every international iDA call is bridged between the ComTrust operator and an operator with the local telephone company (PTT) inside the country where the requested listing resides. We believe this sort of call handling insures the originating caller that they will receive the requested listing over 85% of the time!”

ComTrust pricing for iDA is 40% below it’s nearest competitor. Butler said, “The addition of iDA to the family of ComTrust directory services is a great complement to our national directory assistance database which already includes listings in Canada and Puerto Rico.”
