Suwannee, Ga. – ComTrust Telecommunications, Inc., the Georgia-based leader in voice directory-assistance (VDA) services, today announced a new service, PrimeConnect, that makes it easier and less expensive for small- to medium-sized long-distance carriers and Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs) in the Southeast to provide DA and operator services to their customers.
PrimeConnect offers seven different Points of Presence (POPs) in a nine-state coverage area: Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. This network of seven POPs will make it easier for small- and medium-sized long-distance carriers and CLECs in the Southeast to transport either voice DA or operator services traffic to ComTrust’s network (see network map below).

“With PrimeConnect, we can provide our operator-assisted DA and operator services in the Southeast at a price point that no other provider can match,” said Jason Butler, ComTrust’s chief operating officer. “Having the ability to send this traffic to any of our seven POPs in our network not only makes it easier and less expensive, but provides a single-source solution for carriers and CLECs in this nine-state region to give ComTrust’s high-quality voice DA and operator services to their customers.
“We believe that any long distance carrier or CLEC with customer presence inside nine-state PrimeConnect regional network below, needs to consider PrimeConnect from ComTrust,” Butler added. |
